About
the FACC Foundation

105 recipients · 11 years · over 1 million dollars of scholarships

The French-American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (FACC Foundation) was launched in 2012 to sponsor the education of the next generation of transatlantic business leaders. The patronage is done through the highly selective “Serge Bellanger French American Business Scholarship Program,” named in honor of a beloved past president, who headed the FACC for over 30 years.

For the past 11 years, the FACC Foundation has providedover $1million in financial support to French students seeking to pursue an MBA in the U.S., gain an MBA, and to American students who wish to a Master’s degree or a Mastère Specialisé in a business-related discipline in France. The Scholarships are of $10,000 each and are allotted to pay exclusively academic tuition.

The FACC Foundation Gala is one of the most exclusive events within the French-American community,
gathering friends and business partners for an evening of high-level networking,
entertainment, fine dining, raffle prizes and so much more.

2023 Honoree
Ariane Daguin

Ariane developed her culinary skills alongside her father, Michelin-starred Chef André Daguin, before venturing to New York and pioneering the farm-to-table movement as the Founder of D’Artagnan. The name “D’Artagnan” pays homage to both a real-life Gascon hero and Dumas’s iconic musketeer. Guided by the famous motto “all for one, one for all,” Ariane has always embodied this ethos in her leadership at D’Artagnan and her support of the French-American business community. As a board member of the FACC-NY chapter and Chair of the Food, Beverage and Hospitality Committee, Ariane has leveraged her entrepreneurial journey to ensure that the next generation of business leaders are supported through networking, mentoring, and business development services.

In 2022, D’Artagnan was successfully acquired by Fortune International, LLC, the country’s leading processor, distributor and importer of quality seafood, meats, and gourmet products. Her new project is All for One, One for All (AOOA) a regenerative silvopasture farm, farmstand, and education center in the Mid-Hudson Valley, overseen by her daughter Alix. AOOA reflects Ariane’s ongoing commitment to sustainable agriculture and aims to promote a rich local food culture, build a connected and more resilient community, and do its part to contribute to a healthier planet.
