Thierry Prevost has devoted his career to the art and business of department stores, working in more than 25 countries and calling six of them home. Born and educated in Paris, he began in Connecticut at Sage-Allen before embarking on a three-decade journey through some of the world’s most prestigious retail institutions including Nouvelles Galeries, Galeries Lafayette, Robinsons Singapore, The Mall Group in Thailand, Modo in Dubai and now Printemps.

In 2021, he unveiled Printemps Doha, a spectacular 400,000 square foot destination celebrated as the largest luxury department store in the Middle East. Today in New York, as CEO of the Americas, he is leading the launch of Printemps’ first U.S. store on Wall Street, a visionary space conceived by Laura Gonzalez where each room unfolds as its own story.
